Kala In-Ze was a native of the planet Argo.

History

Her world was thrown out of its orbit when Krypton exploded, slowly killing the Argoans. To save her family, Kala placed them all in suspended animation. When Superman arrived on Argo, he found Kala's family. Sadly, Kala and her whole family had passed away. Only her daughter Kara had survived.
