Kaldur'ahm, also known as Jackson Hyde, is the second Aqualad. He became Aquaman's partner after the original Garth grew up to become Tempest. His powers include control over water and electricity. Black Manta is his father, and his name is an homage to the older character Cal Durham. Kaldur'ahm was created by Greg Weisman, Brandon Vietti, and Phil Bourassa. He was meant to first appear in the 2010 Young Justice pilot episode "Independence Day", but Geoff Johns's adaption appeared five months prior in Brightest Day #4. (2010) Jackson disappeared from the comics for five years after The New 52 reboot, eventually reappearing in DCU: Rebirth #1. (2016) He was a member of the Teen Titans and eventually became the second Aquaman.
