Karastan is a democracy in South Asia.
History
Karastan is a free nation on the Indian Subcontinent. Some time prior to 1951, the ancient regime of Karastan's tyrants was overthrown, and a new democracy was established, in an unrecorded adventure of the famous Blackhawk Squadron.
But as late as 1951, the tyrants and their agents still lurked behind the scenes, and had gotten into cahoots with the apparatchiks of a nearby aggressor nation, and they had planted a number of spies among the Karastani military. These forces very nearly subverted the government entirely, and but for a second visit by the Blackhawks, very likely would have done so.
