- Ernie Chan is credited as Ernie Chua in this issue.
- Cosmic Boy stops a temporarily insane Karate Kid from killing Commander Blud so that he wouldn't be found in violation of the Legion Code which prohibits lethal violence. However, Karate Kid's actions directly result in the apparent death of Major Disaster in Karate Kid #2, so he may arguably be considered to have already violated the Code.
Trivia
- On page 4, Cosmic Boy orders "Thom" (Star Boy) to free Iris Jacobs, but it is Sun Boy who responds and carries out the deed.
- There are many coloring errors in this issue, from panels where Karate Kid's collar is colored blue instead of yellow to panels where Commander Blud, Sun Boy, and Princess Projectra's costumes are colored violet. In one panel, Iris Jacobs's hair is miscolored violet.
