Powers
- Unique Physiology: The Karathen was a being of immense power said to have no equal on Earth. She was capable of single-handedly fighting the entire Atlantean army, which was said to be the strongest military force on the planet. Additionally, the likes of Aquaman stood no chance of defeating her.[1]
- Immortality: The Karathen had lived for eons, since at least the time of King Atlan himself in 3,000 BCE. Despite this, it had displayed no signs of withering at the time of Aquaman's arrival.[1]
- Superhuman Durability[1]
- Superhuman Strength[1]
Abilities
- Swimming: Despite its colossal frame, the Karathen was able to swim at surprisingly fast speeds in the deep ocean.[1]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the DC Extended Universe and is an adaptation of Karaqan. The original character was created by Jeff Parker and Paul Pelletier and first appeared in Aquaman (Volume 7) #26.
