History
Katarthans are a race of yellow skinned humanoid aliens. The Katarthans were an alien race of people who started off as full size, but were subjected to radiation from a leak in their ship's engine, which was powered by a white dwarf star fragment. The Katarthans had established a colony in the Amazon jungle called New Morlaidh. The Atom remained with the Katarthans for a little over a year, where he reigned as their ruler. All Katarthans in the settlement were wiped out when the CIA firebombed that section of the Amazon jungle.
