Doctor Fate was a superhero and later sideshow act in Haley's Circus, using the Helmet of Nabu as his primary equipment.

History

During the last great war, Kent Nelson, with his helmet, operated with a group of heroes known as the Justice Society. However, this group did not stick and they fell apart soon after.

Afterwards, Nelson found himself as a freak show act in Haley's travelling circus where he resided for many years. The true power of his helmet was eventually discovered by the Amazons who hunted him down and killed him in Poland in an effort to take it from him.
