Kevin Sorbo (b. September 24, 1958) portrays Lar Gand on the series Supergirl.
In the early 90's, Sorbo auditioned for the role of Clark Kent/Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, but lost to Dean Cain.[1]
