Kha-Ef-Re was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh and enemy to the Blue Beetle legacy of heroes, known in modern times as the Blood Scarab.
History
Origin
Kha-Ef-Re was a tyrant ruler of Egypt. After his death, he was buried with Khaji Da, the Blue Beetle scarab, to prevent his resurrection. When his tomb was discovered by the first Blue Beetle, Dan Garrett, Kha-Ef-Re came to life, grew in size, and attacked the hero. Blue Beetle would defeat the mummy, with the help of Khaji Da, and once Kha-Ef-Re was sealed back in his tomb, he reverted to his true form: the Blood Scarab.[1]
