Kilowog was the thug bodyguard of the crooked billionaire playboy Booster Gold.
History
When the archaeologist Lois Lane threatened to betray him, Booster Gold ordered Kilowog to kill her and dispose of the body in the ocean. Unbeknownst to them, Lane would be transformed by mystic energies in the deep sea and returned to haunt Booster Gold as Green Lantern. In his shock, Booster shot Lane, but the bullets phased through her and hit Kilowog, killing him.[1]
