Candlemaker

The Candlemaker is a powerful entity created from the fears and nightmares of the world. Originally in the astral plane, it came through to the real world through the powerful Dorothy Spinner, where it attempted to fulfill its destiny to kill everyone in the world. It was one of the greatest enemies of the Doom Patrol.

The Candlemaker was created by Grant Morrison and Richard Case, first appearing in Doom Patrol (Volume 2) #51 (1992).
