King Kobra was a snake-themed would-be world conqueror. During the Ultra-Humanite's appearance, King Kobra intended to take advantage of the chaos happening on Earth. He hired the thief Prysm into kidnapping Dr. Irma Ardeen, a computer expert of Deylight Laboratories, and coercing her, under the threat of death, into rebooting his computer systems and satellite intel that were shutdown by the electromagnetic pulse caused by the Ultra-Humanite and allowing him to move his forces. However, the Batman interfered with King Kobra's plans and saved Dr. Ardeen.
