Kirk Langstrom is the creator of the Man-Bat Serum, using it to become the villainous Man-Bat.

History

Afraid his impending deafness would drive his loved ones away, Dr. Langstrom developed a serum meant to emulate the hearing of Bats. Unfortunately, the serum turned him into the primal Man-Bat.
