Man-Bat was an enemy of Batman prior to the Joker blowing up Metropolis, causing Superman to go crazy and kill him.

During the fifth year of the Superman's Regime, Man-Bat was one of the villains apprehended by Damian Wayne on his birthday.[1]

Soon after, Man-Bat was "rehabilitated" for the Regime and acted as one of their super-powered foot soldiers. Langstrom was sent to stop Harley Quinn, a distraction, at a Regime-controlled Green Pill factory the day that Batman and Lex Luthor managed to teleport an alternate reality Justice League to their Earth to help fight the Regime. Man-Bat was beaten in combat by Harley and left unconscious at the factory as a message to the Regime.[2]

Powers

  • Transformation: Upon injection of his bat gland extract, Kirk Langstrom can transform himself into a half-human/half-bat creature. Once the serum wears off, the Man-Bat returns back to human form.
    • Flight: Man-Bat can fly by way of artificially generated leather wings.
    • Claws: The Man-Bat has sharpened claws which are strong enough to easily tear through flesh and muscle.
    • Echolocation: Man-Bat can navigate through the air by way of echolocation, similar in function to a bat's radar.
