Klaus Gruver was a Gestapo officer in the German army, who was captured in the second World War.
History
After his capture, Gruver was brought to an Allied airfield. There, Hans Hendrickson and Daniel Franklin were ordered to bring Gruver to London, due to Churchill's wish to interrogate him. Gruver could manage it to free himself of the handcuffs with a fake arm, and threatened to kill Hendrickson if he wouldn't fly him to London.
In London, Gruver planned to assassinate said British prime minister but was handcuffed before he even went out of the plane, this time with his real arm.
