Synopsis for "She's Got No Strings, Part Two"
In the pod of her symbioship, Power Girl struggles to wake up. Inside the simulation, Omen tries to comfort her and tells her she had a nightmare, but Power Girl knows she isn't real. The simulated Omen attacks her and chases her through the house, revealing that Paige doesn't have her powers in the dream. Power Girl knocks Omen out with a frying pan and wakes up in the pod, showing her deepest fear: that she never left the symbioship and her whole life is a lie. She tries to escape, but the doors in the corridors keep slamming shut, cutting off her route. Omen stalks her through the corridors of the ship, until she backs Power Girl into a pit with spikes at the bottom, hanging from a rope. Power Girl tells the fake Lilith that she knows she is an illusion because the real Omen would never hurt her, but the nightmare replies that she still fears Omen because their relationship makes her vulnerable. Power Girl replies that reminding her that everyone she loved is dead doesn't hurt her, as it just reminds her that she has been loved her whole life, and that the only person who hates her is herself.
Power Girl drops into the pit and wakes up again in her bed. The scenario repeats hundreds of times as she breaks out of the first level of the nightmare and into the dream of the symbioship over and over again, always persued by Omen. Eventually she manages to reach the dream symbioship's power source and destroys it, blowing up the ship. She wakes up in the real world and runs into Omen's room. When Omen acts like herself instead of the nightmare, she is sure she is in reality. She showers and dresses, and reassures herself that she destroyed the real symbioship years ago and it can never hurt her again. She looks out of the window and sees a nightmare storm over Metropolis.
Weeks later, a fragment of the real symbioship possesses a hermit crab, which is found by a sailor. Intrigued by its shell, he takes it home and, while he is sleeping, the symbioship possesses him. Under the ship's control, he heads out to search for Power Girl.

Synopsis for "The Stuff of Nightmares, Part Two"
Kong breaks free of the Cyborg Superman and pulls the others away from him. They flee outside and Natasha assures the others that they can't be hurt in a dream, when Henshaw suddenly flies in and seemingly kills Kenan. Natasha, who he was carrying, falls and the twins catch her, the three of them crash into the ground and see Metropolis change into Warworld. Henshaw tells them that this reality and Earth was the dream; Superman failed and they died on Warworld. He summons zombies of the Authority which mob Natasha but she yells to the twins that he is lying, and tells them to take him down as a crevasse opens up under her feet and she falls down into the earth.
The twins attack Henshaw, but he shows them their greatest fear: losing each other. He tells Osul-Ra that he's just a puppet for a mad god and his sister is afraid of him; summoning the aspect of Olgrun to take control of him. Then he tells Otho-Ra that she will never be free of Warworld and chains her to Mongul's zombie.
Henshaw laughs that he's finally won by taking Superman's family away, when suddenly Terri Henshaw appears and calls to him. The Cyborg Superman blasts her, yelling that she's not real, but Osul-Ra realises that he's not controlling the nightmare, and is trapped just like they are. He uses Olgrun's power to blast Henshaw and yells at Otho that they can fight him. Otho breaks free and beats Henshaw with her chains. A crowd of zombie Terri's mob him and tell him that he was always a monster, that they always feared and hated him, and chose to die rather than let him save them. They grab Henshaw, saying they are finally ready to be together again, and drag him underground as he screams that it is all Superman's fault.
The twins wake up in reality and the others tell them that they beat Henshaw and saved them. They ask if it is over but Conner says its a long way from over.
