The Knights of Khera is an ancient and legendary military Kheran faction under the command of Sebastian.

History

The Knights operates from their ship The Red Blade, the flagship of the Kheran fleet. Throughout their military history, the Knights demolished the Fu'Ama Armada, leveled the Goladean Fortress Moons, razing the Regenerator Armies of the Samilat Hierarchy. Among the crew of the Red Blade many of them are warlords who trained under their leader Sebastian, and even Majestic served him and the Knights for a time. For the Knight's reputation, entire galaxies feared them and trembled at their name. And overtime, even for Kherans, the Knights became considered exceptionally bloodthirsty, as they slaughtered billions in their onslaught.[1]

Ten millennia ago, the Knights helped fend off an invasion from the Bleed. Even with their help, the Kherans were losing. They drove the enemy into the Bleed long enough for the rift to be sealed, but they sacrificed themselves by trapping themselves on the other side in order to do it... or so it seemed.[2]

After Armageddon, the Knights returned to their universe when the generator powering the Masking Wall in Finland snagged on a quantum tether which tore open a rift into the Bleed. Their warship appeared over Finland and the Knight conquered the nation, turning it into a staging ground for their plans to take over the ruined Earth as the "New Kheran Empire". To accomplish their goal, they planned to terraform the planet by wiping out its existing inhabitants so they can claim the planet as "New Khera". Using drones that were previously used by the alien entity slain by the Authority, the Kherans repurposed the drones to shut down Earth's magnetic field which will expose the planet to the full force of the sun's radiation and killing every lifeform on the surface, while everyone inside the Masking Wall are safely protected. Their presence and plans were discovered by The High and eventually they came into conflict with Stormwatch. The Knights stopped Stormwatch from destroying the drones, but the Red Blade was damaged when it collided into the fully shielded Skywatch.[2]

The Knights repaired the Red Blade and later attempted to capture the Authority's Carrier, but were too late to capture the vessel when it departed Earth and instead wage an open war against the planet's gathered heroes in UnLondon. The fighting was temporarily interrupted by another invasion force from Sliding Albion, in which the Knights successfully routed and forced the invaders to retreat before resuming their battle against Earth's forces.[1]

During an all-out battle in the UnLondon ruins, the Knights had to separately defend their terraforming devices when Spartan of the Wildcats ordered Fuji to teleport some of Earth's heroes to destroy the devices at Earth's magnetic poles. Knights members Phobos, Deimos, and Sabre were sent to the poles, leaving Sebastian and the others to continue their battle in UnLondon. Eventually, the core members of the Knights: Kine, Rodrigo, Sabre, Phobos and Deimos were killed and the terraforming machines were teleported into the Red Blade which tore the ship by Redeemer, Disperse, Dingo, H.E.R.B. and Geek. A deeply enraged Sebastian stormed the Red Blade and killed those for destroying the ship. The Red Blade and Sebastian, and along with Redeemer, were banished into the Bleed again by Link, who opened several Shift-Doors to The Bleed and ending the threat of the Knights of Khera.[3]
