Synopsis for "The Lazarus Conspiracy"
Jason arrives in Johnny Double's office and shows them that he stole one of Kobra's wrist weapons. He also tells them that he wants to go to New York to continue his yearly tradition of putting flowers on his parents' grave every year, only he is so grief stricken that he cannot do it himself and Mellissa always did it for him. Johnny volunteers that he will go first and tend to the graves. Unknown to him Jason plans to attack Kobra's ark head-on, and using the wrist gadget he gets inside. Burr defeats the whole guard contingent alone much to the surprise of Kobra. Although he has some surprises too, as Jason finds himself in a special platform that channels the symbiote link into Kobra's underlings, so that he no longer feels Jason's pain. Jason sees Melissa imprisoned, but she says that she cannot deny her love for Kobra, which Jason of course cannot believe. Jason realizes that if they are no longer connected then it goes both ways so he jumps on Kobra and pummels him. Kobra manages to open an emergency hatch, so Jason falls out of the Ark. Meanwhile in the cemetery Double finds that the Burr's grave had been robbed and that nobody visited the grave in years. Back on the Ark, Kobra demonstrates that Project ‘R' stands for Resurrection when he revives a recently dead senator. Kobra also starts to feel Jason's pain, which means he is somehow still alive.Kobra decides on the last solution, he must revive their parents, who are laying perfectly preserved inside the Ark.
