History

Futures End

Superboy has been infected by a virus that is making him weaker; he can not even fly anymore. He laments on how painful it is not being able to live up to Superman. He claims, "I'm supposed to be him." Other Superboys from other realities come to kill Superboy to cure the virus that is infecting them. When Superboy shows them that he is not the cure, one of the other Superboy's turns on the others. He absorbs their energy making him grow and expand into a mutated blob. With the help of Rose Wilson, Guardian, and others, Superboy successfully stops the clones and saves the day, and in Superboy's eyes, successfully lives up to Superman's legacy.

• Cloned Kryptonian Physiology: Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Superboy possesses the half-potential powers as an average Kryptonian. These include:
