Dasor was the chairman of the Solar Council in Solar City council in the 58th century.

When an aggressive race of monsters known as Zegors began attacking the city, the city elders turned to Dasor for guidance. Unable to find anyone in the current era to aid them, Chairman Dasor instead decided to look towards the past. Using his Timescope, he discovered the 20th century super-hero known as Green Lantern. Dasor used the technology at this command to pull Green Lantern from the timestream into the year 5700. With the assistance of his secretary, Iona Vane, Chairman Dasor wiped Hal Jordan's memory, creating the alternate identity of Pol Manning. Dasor also programmed Jordan's mind so that he would fall in love with Iona. As Pol Manning, Hal believed himself to be a space-faring adventurer of the 58th century, and saved Star City from the threat of the Zegors. In recognition of his accomplishment, Dasor named Pol Manning as Director of the Solar Council. Following this event, Dasor returned Hal to his native time era, with no memory of his time spent in the future.[1]

In 5702, Chairman Dasor once again found himself in need of Green Lantern's services. He pulled him back into the 58th century, whereupon Hal re-assumed the identity of Pol Manning. This time, he saved Star City from the threat of a rebel cadre calling itself the Junta. In so doing, he discovered that the true orchestrator of the rebel threat was a magician named Ferenc Aldebaran. [2]

In one of Hal's later adventures, the super-villain known as Doctor Polaris nearly succeeded in killing him. Chairman Dasor witnessed the event through his Timescope, and brought Hal into his time era, where he managed to save his life using 58th century technology. Grateful for restoring him back to full health, Hal assisted the people of Star City once again - this time against the threat of Viros and the Super-Viro. With the crisis alleviated, Chairman Dasor sent Hal back to his normal time period, again bereft of the memory of his time spent in the 58th century.[3]

A short time later, Hal visited the 58th century of his own accord. He addressed Dasor and Iona, curious about the lapses of memory he had suffered of late, and how they relate to this time era. Dasor restored GL's full memories of his time spent in Star City, and Green Lantern aided the Solar Council once again against a criminal named Doctor Strangehate. During this episode, Dasor and the others discovered that Doctor Strangefate was actually a physical manifestation of the Pol Manning alias, created by the temporal paradox of Hal's frequent trips to the future. After defeating Manning and his Neomen, Hal returned to the 20th century with full recollection of his jaunts to the 58th century.[4]
