The distant kingdom of Krafora was ruled by a dynasty of theocratic despots, each calling himself "Fate."

History

Until 1948, the remote Asian monarchy of Krafora was ruled by Fate, and the Messengers of Fate were greatly feared. At regular intervals Fate would select the finest young men and women of Krafora, to join him in his Secret Kingdom of Fate. Defiance of this selection was met with instant execution, by seemingly magical means, in the form of an electric spark leaping from the Messenger's hand to the target's chest. This was a trick; the people were compelled to wear amulets, the "Sacred Charm of Fate," which were actually deadly radio signal receivers.

In 1948, Blackhawk and his team stumbled across this situation, looked into it, figured it out, and took action. Most of the Messengers of Fate were riddled with tommy-gun bullets by Blackhawk, and the survivors soon surrendered. "Fate" killed himself with his own radio device.
