L.E.G.I.O.N. #57 is an issue of the series L.E.G.I.O.N. (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1993.

Synopsis for "Trinity Part 3: Police Action"

The L.E.G.I.O.N. tells Green Lantern to stand down and leave the matter of the Triarch under their control because Maltus is under their jurisdiction. While they argue, the gods continue their work, leveling buildings and terraforming the planet, putting countless civilians in danger.

When Hal gets free from Lobo's clutch, Vril Dox orders the L.E.G.I.O.N. to prevent Green Lantern from attacking the Triarch. Captain Comet and Lobo fight the Green Lantern while the rest of the L.E.G.I.O.N.naires protect and evacuate the civilians from the danger zone.

Meanwhile, Dox brings the Maltusian Manu to the ship to help him decipher the ancient tablet. Later, Dox contacts Regional Administrator Prigatz to inform him of the situation. After learning vital information about the Triarch's plans, Vril Dox changes his orders: from now on, the L.E.G.I.O.N. will attack the Triarch head-on while the Darkstars take care of Green Lantern's intrusion.
