L.E.G.I.O.N. #68 is an issue of the series L.E.G.I.O.N. (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 1994.
Synopsis for "Our Product is Peace"
On Cairn, hostilities escalate between the Cairnians and the Argites, recently integrated into the population after the destruction of their homeworld Arga-Prime.[citation needed] Vril Dox attempts to mediate between the leaders of both groups of people, but is unable to prevent conflict. Later, as the Argites lead a march during a massive Cairnian holiday, L.E.G.I.O.N. officers receive orders to fire into the crowd, leading to a riot that quickly becomes a massacre.
Strata and Garv's relationship continues to suffer due to their differing loyalties to L.E.G.I.O.N. (after Garv left[citation needed]), and Strata's unwillingness to communicate. Strata's faith in L.E.G.I.O.N. is shaken when she sees the devastation in the streets caused by the riots.
Furiously trying to figure out who gave the order to murder innocent civilians, Vril Dox realizes that it was his own son, Lyrl. Lyrl taunts him, as despite Dox's insistence on integrity, his credibility will likely fall as his command was overridden by his own infant child.
In the middle of the Cairn streets, a Time Bubble appears, and Jo Nah steps out, requesting a local traffic cop to help him locate superior L.E.G.I.O.N. officer Phase.
