Lady Turquoise rules the Kingdom of Turquoise in Gemworld with her husband Lord Turquoise and is Princess Amethyst's best friend.[1]
History
Young Justice
On Lady Turquoise's wedding day, Amethyst prevented her from being kidnapped and tried to unite the Houses of Gemworld against Dark Lord Opal, who intended to subject them all to his power.[2] Although Turquoise was at her side, she was a losing vote in front of the other Houses, who preferred not to face Opal. Amethyst later returned with her newfound Young Justice team, and apparently managed to get the Houses to change their mind about Opal, but she and her new friends did not know that they would be randomly sent by the Multiverse by Lady Emerald, much to Lady Turquoise's surprise.[3]
Amethyst
On Amethyst's sixteenth birthday, she returned to her second home in the Kingdom of Amethyst at Gemworld, but she came across her ruined realm and her people, whom she vowed to protect, disappeared. She then went to neighboring Kingdom of Turquoise to ask for help from her best friend and closest ally, Lady Turquoise, but she was weird and elusive, as if she didn't care about the situation in her friend's kingdom, refusing to help her with the requested deployment of her troops.[1]

Trivia
- In the Young Justice stories, she has straight hair and a totally human appearance, but in the Amethyst stories she has two pairs of forearms and hands, like the other inhabitants of the Kingdom of Turquoise, in addition to curly hair.
