Lady Viper is an enemy of the Birds of Prey.
History
Lady Viper was recruited into a band of snake-themed mercenaries by Asp.[1] As part of the Snake Gang, Lady Viper participated in a raid on one of the Gotham City Police Department's safe houses. They then ambushed Commissioner Gordon, but were confronted by the Birds of Prey. Lady Viper briefly fought Huntress, but when Black Canary's sonic shriek destroyed the lights in the safe house, Lady Viper took the opportunity to capture Santo Cassamento and escape back to Fenice.[2]
Huntress discovered Santo's whereabouts and tracked him down to the Snakes' hideout. Lady Viper, Asp, and Copperhead attacked Huntress, with Lady Viper nearly killing her until the other Birds of Prey appeared and defeated Lady Viper with an amplified light. After her teammates suffered similar defeats, Lady Viper fled from the scene.[3] After learning that Fenice was Huntress's mother who had long been thought dead, the Birds of Prey tracked the villains to the Majestic Theater in Gotham City. The Snake Gang once again ambushed the Birds. Lady Viper fought Huntress until a group of mobsters hired by Oracle attacked the serpentine criminal. She easily killed her opponents and resumed attacking Huntress. Huntress then knocked Lady Viper out of the fight.[4]
Much later, Lady Viper was present when Talia al Ghul assembled the League of Shadows after the death of her father, Ra's al Ghul. Talia ordered the League of Shadows to hunt down and kill Deathstroke and his allies.[5]

Notes
- Lady Viper was created by Cary Burkett and Jose Delbo, first appearing in Detective Comics #514. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Lady Viper first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #2 by Julie Benson and Shawna Benson.
