She is a fierce dictator who has vast elemental powers, being able to manipulate the earth under her feet. By the modern day, her country is a secret haven for on-the-run supervillains and the Church of Blood.
In recent years, Lady Zand has made concerted efforts to boost Zandia's profile and improve its standing in the world. She has even sent a small team of athletes to compete in the Olympic games.

Powers
- Geokinesis: When angered, Lady Zand possesses the ability to literally become "the soil of her homeworld", transforming herself into a towering figure made of rock and earth. She can use this power to cause earthquakes, tap into lava flows and levitate or create shapes out of solid rock. She demonstrated this ability against Young Justice.
