Auron was a member of the Omega Men.
History
Kidnapped by the alien Psions, the Okaaran woman X-Hal was forced to take part in an insidious experiment in genetics, and was mated with a brutal Branx warrior in the hope of creating an entirely new species as their offspring. The mating produced two children, one who became the first Citadelian, the other being called Lambien. The Citadelian left Okaara when X'Hal went mad and destroyed three of Vega's 25 planets in her fury. Lambien, however, was raised by X'Hal once the Warlords of Okaara found a way to harness the incredible power accidentally granted her by the Psions. Lambien received some of X'Hal's energy powers, and appointed himself X'Hal's guardian on Okaara.
When the Omega Men escaped the Citadel's rule, Lambien joined them. During the Omega Men's interstellar voyage, Lambien's power began to grow, and fearing that he would go as mad as his mother, he had himself placed in a special energy dampener. Lambien's powers continued to increase, however, and by the time he arrived on Earth, he found that, although his power now equaled his mother's, he was still in full control of his senses. To reflect his new life, he took the new name Auron.
On Earth, Auron and the Omega Men successfully destroyed a Gordanian fleet of Citadel slavers, then returned to Vega, where they helped to end the Citadel tyranny.[1]
