Lana Lang is Clark Kent's best friend and childhood crush.

History

When a blur started harassing Smallville, Lana, Clark Kent, and Pete Ross, accompanied Lex Luthor in his investigation into the creature. Clark discovered the blur, but they all thought he was simply a stray dog. The next day, Lana visited Clark at Kent Farm, but Clark convinced her to leave when the Kryptonian Rocket started acting up. She then went downtown, but the area was attacked by a Brainiac Rocket. When it flung her, she was rescued by Superman.
