Lara was the mother of Superman.
History
After Lara's husband had returned from his meeting with the council, Lara went to his lab to ask him how it went. However, while they were talking, they began to feel Krypton begin to destroy itself. Lara refused to leave Jor-El's side and told him to send their son to Earth, instead of her.
Notes
- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Adventures of Superman and is an adaptation of Lara. The original character was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and first appeared in the Superman comic strip.
- Lara was portrayed by Aline Towne.
