- Lara was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, first appearing in the Superman comic strip. However, Lara first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Action Comics (Volume 2) #3 by Grant Morrison, Rags Morales, and Gene Ha.
Trivia
- Her maiden name is given as Lara Van-El in Action Comics Annual (Volume 2) #2, though Lor-Van is again established as her father in Action Comics #988.
