Laura Kent is Clark Kent and Lois Lane's fifteen-year-old daughter.
History
As impatient and obstinate as her mother, Laura wants to be a print reporter like Lois, showing little interest in TV journalism even though her father is a newscaster.
Laura grew up thinking she was born without powers. However, shortly before her parents' 16th anniversary party, Laura exhibited super-strength, super-speed and super-senses for the first time.

Alien Physiology: In spite of, or precisely because, her Terran/Kryptonian mixed heritage, Laura didn't display powers until she was fifteen. Laura theorizes hybrids like herself are slow developers. So far she has exhibited the next powers:

- Superhuman Speed: It's told her speed equals her father and second cousin's.

- This version of Laura Kent, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
Trivia
- The same day Laura discovered her powers, her mother found out she was pregnant again.
- Up to the Bronze Age, all children begotten by Superman and Lois Lane in imaginary stories had powers from birth. Laura is one of the first instances to not display powers prior to her teenhood.
