Lawrence Stone is a USAAF pilot and lieutenant in the 332nd Fighter Group.

History

Stone was one of the first black airmen in the United States military as part of the segregated group known collectively as the Tuskegee Airmen because they trained at Moton Field and studied at Tuskegee University.

During World War II Stone befriended Steve Trevor who was not on active duty due to the publicity potential of his return from being declared dead. The two of them were part of a program to experiment with stealth tech on a disused bomber, and he met the Holliday Girls when they were snooping around the base where the experimental craft was kept.
