Lazarus Lane, aka El Diablo, is an adventurer from a Western-themed pocket dimension created by Auetuer.io.
History
While El Diablo was trying to stop a runaway train, four strangers appeared on the roof of the train. He confronted them and even shot their leader, but found that the man was bulletproof and he simply calmly introduced them all as El Diablo continued to shoot him. Things only got stranger when metal men attacked them and the newcomers told him that the train had been possessed by something called Auteur.io. The engine transformed into a metal giant and more metal men attacked them. While El Diablo and the others fought the metal men, the one who called himself Superman flew into the air and then in high speed in a circle around the giant. His armour flew off, revealing a blue-skinned man underneath, who told a strange story about gods and magic. Suddenly the armour flew back on him, and he said that he would destroy Superman's world and disappeared.[1]
The ground beneath their feet suddenly turned to quicksand but Superman was able to pull them out to safety. El Diablo demanded to know what was going on and the others explained: they were all from different realities and Auteur.io was the creator of their worlds, and they needed to get to Superman's world to save it before it was destroyed. El Diablo agreed to help them but asked that they save the passengers on the train first. He initially thought the one called Alanna was snobbish whe she referred to his world as "unfiltered", but he began to warm to her when she showed genuine admiration for his concern for the people around him.
Superman pulled the train to the nearest town and the group then flew to a hole in reality and through it to The World of Tomorrow. Alanna and El Diablo protected the people of Metropolis from the demons attacking the city,[2] while Superman, Batman and Robin went to Superman's Fortress of Solitude to stop their leader Etrigan. The three eventually stopped the demon invasion, and when the hordes disappeared Alanna and El Diablo shared a victory kiss.
They were each returned to their own realities, but when El Diablo got home he found that Alanna's father had begun sending the monsters of Rann to the Desert of Doom. Alanna jumped through the hole to help him protect his world.[3]
