Legend of the Hawkman (Volume 1) with a cover date of September, 2000.
Synopsis for "Flight of Faith"
Back on Earth, a flock of crows maim and kill a block of citizens on the corner of Gardner Lane and Fox Street in Midway City. Thasaro descends on Kubert Park. On Thanagar, Hawkman and Hawkgirl arrive to quell the devastation that Kartez wrought on the planet with Thasaro's brief return. Shayera requests that Chief Andar Pul give her all available wingmen to take on Thasaro while Katar prays to the Thangarian Trinity. The Trinity informs Katar that he must have faith in his love for Shayera in order to defeat Thasaro. The Trinity's words made Katar realize that he has been neglectful of Shayera's feelings and needs since their time on Earth. Upon their return to Earth, Hawkman confesses that he hasn't been the best companion to Shayera and Shayera bursts into tears. Shayera is happy that Katar is finally overcoming his arrogance but she also feels inadequate to be Katar's lover because she won't be able to bare children due to Thasaro. Hawkman and Hawkwoman use their Nth Metal weapons to subdue Thasaro. As Thasaro regains his strength, the Trinity appears and banishes Thasaro to the fiery depths of Earth's Hell. As a means of gratitude for their valor, the Trinity restore Shayera's ability to have children again. Soon after, Shayera and Katar attend the baptism of Emmet's child. They gaze into each other's eyes and kiss passionately in the hopes of having their first born.
