Synopsis for "Dark Matter, Part 3"

Still plagued by the Rogues and hunting Dark Matter, Flash is not best pleased to learn that Captain Cold has escaped from jail. He is also worried about Iris' safety, as Dark Matter knows that she got away from him, but has Charlie Conwell guard her hospital bed, which is just as well, as Joe Hinchman seems to be after her.

Iris and Barry deduce that Dark Matter is probably Barry's new employer John Paul Curfew, and Barry speeds off after his next likely scientist target, where he is unexpectedly aided against the killer by Captain Cold, who feels like he could have become involved in the case anyway as either victim or suspect. When unmasked, Dark Matter turns out to be Curfew's subordinate, Fred Fleming, who has killed his employer in order to prevent him from passing on his suspicions about Fleming to the police. With the case wrapped up, and Hinchman behind bars, Barry is able to go back to his old job for the police force. Everything is pretty much back to normal.
