Trivia

  • The story occurs in the fictional country of Minglia. This name is similar to Mingli Sar which is a mountain located in Northern Pakistan and adjacent to China. Due to the jungle terrain, the rebels' worship of a Chinese god and Oliver Queen's lengthy flight time, it makes it likely that Minglia is located in the vicinity of that mountain.
  • Dennis O'Neil's original script set this story in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War, and was intended as a prequel to the Hard Travelling Heroes saga.[1] It is unclear why the setting was changed from Vietnam to a fictional country.
