Synopsis for "Peacemakers Part 2: War Zone"

Green Arrow is taken to the rebel camp, where he is nursed back to health by Sister Angelina. He also meets a child whose parents were killed in the fighting and agrees to teach him archery. Then, a monk who has the respect of both sides is to be brought in to mediate peace talks, and General Zho wants him dead, as the war makes him a wealthy man. Hal Jordan returns to Minglia with another Ferris aircraft, but takes no part in the happenings as a civilian, though Green Lantern does take sides.

The rebel base comes under attack, and Green Arrow sees Sister Angelina, a peacekeeper, killed by a Queen Industries landmine which causes him to take sides in the conflict, finding himself facing Green Lantern.

Trivia

  • The story occurs in the fictional country of Minglia. This name is similar to Mingli Sar which is a mountain located in Northern Pakistan and adjacent to China. Due to the jungle terrain, the rebels' worship of a Chinese god and Oliver Queen's lengthy flight time, it makes it likely that Minglia is located in the vicinity of that mountain.
