The Legion of Doom is a loose coalition of prisoners that made an escape attempt from the flying prison known as the "Hall of Doom".

History

The Legion was created by the villain Heatwave, who attempted to use the team to destroy Detroit in order to get revenge on the hero Cyborg, but Heat Wave was betrayed by his teammate Eel O'Brian, who refused to be a party to the murder of millions of innocent civilians. What was left of the Legion was captured by Cyborg after Heatwave crashed the flying prison into Detroit.

Notes

• The Legion of Doom first appeared on the Super Friends TV series, debuting in the episode Wanted: The Superfriends written by Jeffrey Scott. The team was adapted for Flashpoint Timeline continuity in Flashpoint: Legion of Doom #1 by Adam Glass and Rodney Buchemi.
