The Legion of Doom is a super-villain team led by Lex Luthor.

History

Lex Luthor gathered a group of super-villains within his Secret Kryptonite Fortress. They planned to go along with Brainiac's scheme to release the Phantom Zoners, until they were confronted by the Justice League. The league defeated their rivals, but couldn't withstand the might of Starro. Superman and Superwoman arrived, being able to throw Starro into space and crash Brainiac's Skull Ship. Brainaic emerged with the Phantom Zone Projector, plotting to send Superwoman into the Phantom Zone. Superboy Pryme freaked out and tried to take the projector, only to inadvertently send New Krypton into the zone instead. Enraged, he attacked Brainiac, prompting the Legion to escape aboard the Hall of Doom.
