Quote1 Well, Trapper... maybe you did create me... and the Legion. Maybe the greatest man I've ever known was your puppet. And maybe my Legion won't have existed without you. But somehow, somewhere, somebody else will rise up to take our places. The only thing that matters now is what won't survive if I let you live. So, God help me, it's all gotta end NOW! Quote2

Synopsis for "Legion of Super-Heroes"

On Talok VIII, Grev visited Tasmia and informed her that the Council had removed her as the planetary protector and made him her replacement. Later, Mon-El visited Tasmia and revealed that the Time Trapper was inside of his body. The two went to Colu to visit Brainiac 5 and enlist his assistance. Mon-El remembered the time Dream Girl predicted his death, so Eltro sacrificed himself to fulfill the prediction, while saving him. Mon-El had three impulses inside of his brain, as opposed to Brainiac 5 and Shadow Lass both having one, Brainaic 5 used a machine in an attempt to expel the Time Trapper's impulse from his teammate's brain.

In the process, Mon-El's body disappeared and one of the Time Trapper's spies attempted to kill Brainiac 5 and Shadow Lass. Mon-El found himself in the Pocket Universe and fought the Time Trapper, who left his mind. Shadow Lass killed the Time Trapper's spy although Brainiac 5 believed that the spy could have led them to her master.

In the Pocket Universe, the Time Trapper recalled that he created the Legion of Super-Heroes to oppose Mordru, who stood in the way of his ambitions. The Time Trapper learned that the Legion was capable of defeating him after they defeated Darkseid and warned Mon-El that if he killed him, he would vanish from reality in both the past and present and the Legion would not be formed. Mon-El, however, landed a punch on the Time Trapper and continued his attempt to kill him.
