Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 4) #5 is an issue of the series Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 4) with a cover date of March, 1990.
Synopsis for "Legion of Super-Heroes"
Andrew Nolan met Mysa Nal in a cathedral although she was expecting Foxmoor. Mysa told Andrew the tale of the Knights of the 30 and one knight who sacrificed himself to defeat a demon who sought to devour their sun. Later, Nolan told Vidar the tale Mysa told him about a puppet master delivering a Durlan shape-shifter to the Knights of the 30, helping them defeat Mordru.
Meanwhile, Glorith watched the snow before being briefed by Mano.
Nolan was spotted by Mano's forces after meeting with Mysa again. Then, Glorith monitored him as he plotted with Vidar to overthrow Mordru.
Near midnight, Vidar went out into the snow and with Glorith's help, tried to forge a mindlink with Mordru. Vidar saw how the Time Trapper manipulated the Durlan into forming the Legion of Super-Heroes before the link broke up.
Mano's people showed him a method of getting everything from a woman named Prudence's head by lowering her into an R.N.A. bath. Vidar woke up next to Glorith standing in front of him and she believed that Mordru would know what he had done before she suggested that they could be of mutual service.
Mano learned that Mysa was nowhere to be found, so he ordered his skiff to take him to the cathedral. As Mysa prayed inside of the cathedral, Mano approached her from behind.
Mysa willingly left with Mano and Nolan rushed in an attempt to save her, but was taken down. Meanwhile, Glorith told Vidar to create another dark force, as the puppet master had to be replaced and Glorith believed that it was her destiny, so she started a spell that would drain her life.
