Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 4) with a cover date of February, 1995.
Synopsis for "Breakout!"
After restoring power to the exit tunnel for solar prison Planet Hell,[1] the Legion are surprised to see an escape craft appear to take away warden Bur Rac just as the locks on 10,000 cells open to free some of the worst criminals in the galaxy. The purported mission to save the guards at the prison was actually a set up to spring all of the criminals. The Workforce appears to save the LSH from the mob. The teams squabble among themselves while Brainiac 5 tries to come up with a solution for how to leave the sun. Before he can, the tunnel allowing them to exit collapses, trapping them inside.
