Synopsis for "Heart of Iron"
Ferro presents a plan to Lex Luthor and Brainiac 5 that would have him ride a bomb into the sun in order to destroy the Sun-Eater. But they decide instead to rocket a force field to the sun. Luthor wants Green Lantern to pilot the ship, but he mysteriously disappears. When Superman volunteers to take his place, Ferro decides he can't let someone so important risk his life.
