Synopsis for "Fight the Power!"
As the Science Police attack the Legion core team, Cosmic Boy discovers (through Brainiac 5) that Invisible Kid's father works for the Science Police, leading Cos to wonder whom Invisible Kid actually works for. When asked, Lyle explains that he is not working for the Science Police, because of his father's actions. As Lyle has always had a skill for xenochemistry, he invented an invisibility serum (that his father had promised secretly to hand over to the Science Police). When the promise was discovered, Lyle injected himself with the only sample, deleted all files regarding the project, told his father that it was a dead end, and asked Brainiac 5 for help through the Legion, leading Lyle to become a core Legion member. To clear the situation out for the Legion, Lyle (knowing that what his father really want is the invisibility serum) gave a blood sample to his father, though it was programmed with a computer virus that allowed the Legion to secretly view every database in the United Planets Systemworks. (The sample was actually taken by Praetor Lemnos, but he was apparently unable to use it.) Because of this clever action, Cosmic Boy decided to not kick Lyle out of the team.
