Synopsis for the 1st Story

Team unrest has gotten so bad that Legion of Super-Heroes fans are gathering outside Legion headquarters and arguing amongst themselves about the Legion. Invisible Kid arrives and keeps it from escalating to violence. He flies into Legion HQ to speak with Cosmic Boy and finds that Cosmic Boy has already left. Cosmic Boy was recently ousted as the leader with Brainiac 5 taking his place.

Chameleon, disguised as Ultra Boy, apologizes to Lightning Lad in an attempt to alleviate the feelings of division in the team. Ultra Boy arrives and sees this and punches Chameleon.

Brainiac 5 takes a transmatter gate to the world Helegyn. He surveys the situation, where the inhabitants are being defeated by the invading Terror Firma. Brainiac calls Legion and orders Ultra Boy, Element Lad, Dream Girl, Star Boy, Colossal Boy and Saturn Girl to assist him planetside.

Invisible Kid goes to Metropolis, the hub of transmatter gate travel, where Cosmic Boy is getting ready to take a gate home to Braal. As Cosmic Boy is heading to the gate, Invisible Kid alters the controls so the gate takes Cosmic Boy to Helegyn. Cosmic Boy walks in on the battle and does what comes naturally. He lends a hand.
