Lena Luthor is the current CEO of LuthorCorp and the young half-sister of the criminal Lex Luthor. She took took charge of her family company after Lex was sent to prison and renamed it as L-Corp. After moving to National City, she also became friends with Kara Danvers aka Supergirl.
History
At age four, when her mother died, Lena was adopted by the Luthor Family. So she moved to the Luthor Mansion in Metropolis. She eventually became friends with Andrea Rojas and began dating Jack Spheer. Trying to defeat Superman, her brother Lex killed several police officers, kidnapped her and turned the sun red. However, he was later arrested and put on trial, where Lena testified against him. So he was sent to Stryker's Island Penitentiary. Lena then broke up with Jack and moved to National City to start a new life, where she changed the name of the family company to L-Corp and became CEO. There, she befriended reporter Kara Danvers, had a brief relationship with photographer James Olsen, and briefly became the new editor-in-chief of CatCo Worldwide Media.[4]

- Magic: Being a witch like her biological mother, Lena is capable of performing magic.[5]
- Cybernetic Enhancement: In an alternate timeline, Lena suffered a accident which almost cost her physical body, so her mother Lillian opered her and turned her in a Metallo-like being. (Alternate Timeline)[7]
- Energy Projection: Lena could emit and fire kryptonite radiation from her body.[7]
Abilities
- Genius Level Intellect: Lena is incredibly brilliant, which affords her the ability to stay several steps ahead of her enemies. This also allowed her to outwit her evil stepmother on several occasions.
- Business Management: Lena has shown great business skills, being on par or even better than Moran Edge.
- Science: Lena has a knack for invention, much like her brother Lex. However, unlike him, she has learned not to rely on using power to overcome problems. Lena has shown to be on the same level as Winn when it comes to inventing.
- Mechanical Engineering: Lena is a highly skilled engineer, she made a Daxamite oxygen bomb to save National City from the Daxamites and a artificial intelligence named Hope.
- Tactical Analysis/Leadership: Lena is a highly intelligent individual, an excellent tactician and leader.
- Computer Hacking/ Operation: Lena is a highly trained computer specialist and hacker.
- Deception: Lena is skilled at deceiving people, able to work closely with Lillian without her stepmother realizing the intentions to expose her schemes; Lena was successful in achieve this task not one, but twice.

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Supergirl and is an adaptation of Lena Luthor. The original character was created by Jerry Siegel and Kurt Schaffenberger and first appeared in Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #23.

Trivia
- The facility Rudy Jones worked in Norway was named Thorul Arctic Research Station. In the comics, the Luthor Family decided to change their surname to "Thorul" (an anagram of "Luthor") due to shame caused on them by Lex's crimes and reputation.[8]
