Leonid Kovar is the Red Star, a Russian metahuman who was formerly affiliated with the Teen Titans. He know serves the Russian government alongside several other Russian metahumans in a team known as the People's Heroes.

- Red Star was created by Len Wein, Marv Wolfman, and Bill Draut, first appearing in Teen Titans #18. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Red Star first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Doomsday Clock #5 by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank.
