The Lieutenant Marvels were three young men from Earth-S, all of whom shared the name Billy Batson.
History
They became:
- Fat Marvel,
- Hill Marvel, and
- Tall Marvel.
Through a combination of fate and circumstance, all three acquired super-powers by speaking the magic word "Shazam". The team of Captain Marvel and the three Lieutenants is also referred to as the Squadron of Justice, not to be confused with a similarly-named later team of Earth-S superheroes.
Notes
- This version of the Lieutenant Marvels, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022–2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
