• Little Mermaid was supposedly killed in Justice League Europe #30, but when she returned in Justice League Europe #49, she explained the Mermaid that was killed was an "evil twin". (see excerpt) The matter was never really explained; it is unknown whether all the Global Guardians in "Breakdowns" were "evil twins" (clones or something else), or if that just applied to Little Mermaid.
