Livewire is a super-villain with electricity powers, and an enemy to Superman. Originally a "shock jock" radio personality, she turned to crime after losing her job at the station. She has been a member of the Superman Revenge Squad and the Supermen of America. Livewire was created by Evan Dorkin and Sarah Dyer for the DCAU, first appearing in Superman: The Animated Series episode Livewire. (1997) Her first DC Universe appearance was in Gail Simone and John Byrne's Action Comics #835. (2006)
